Writeup/Notes:
Today was a cold and miserable day, but I think the results made it worthwhile. Due to all the snow we had this week, the course was still covered with water, ice, and snow, so there was no hope of getting any heat in our tires today. Mike co-drove the car, and my parent surprised me with a visit for my birthday.
In hopes of softening up the car a bit to give it some 'give', I set the compression at 1 on all four corners, an left the rebound where Stan recommended it (-5 flats on both ends, I believe). The results tell an odd story. I was the quickest vette there by quite a bit, which is great news, but I'll have to see if it was a time-of-day issue, it will be telling to see what the results are in warmer weather when everybody is on their normal game.
The car looked fantastic with its new wheels, although it did end up being too low, there was a bit of 'self clearancing' going on, so I have sinced raised the car and realigned it. With luck, that will be the last of my rubbing issues.
Tires are still looking pretty good, so I think I can hold off having to buy any of those for a little bit longer, although I suspect I will need some new ones for the new season.
