Writeup/Notes:
As well as the last race went, something was just 'odd' about this one - I never found my stride.
First, the car notes. This was the second time on the new setup, and unfortunately, this time, I detected
some rubbing problems on the upper fender lip (as opposed to the inner, as with the 305 fronts...) In an effort to reduce the amount the car is rolling, to combat this, I've installed some Hotchkis swaybars, so we'll see if that helps the issue any. This rubbing problem is turning out to be much harder to solve than I'd thought - perhaps some bumpstops will be in order at some point, or a stiffer spring - we'll see.
Other than that, there's not a whole lot to say. Somehow I just never found my stride, so I never really
drove the car hard enough to really get a feel for the limits. For whatever reason, the course just
kicked my butt. I offer as evidence times about 2 seconds off the pace compared to my benchmarks from last
time.
On a happy note, Liz absolutely kicked butt her second time out, running a 69.x time - wow! That was a
killer time among novices and ladies. Looks like I'd better look harder at competition behind me
than in front!
