Well, it is now October 4, 2004 as I write this, so my memory of this event is a bit rusty.
What I do remember is that this was the first event with the new Vette Brakes front spring on the car, and the difference
was tremendous. With new 305/30-18 Kumho Ecsta V700's on the front, and the new spring with about the same alignment as before, the car felt unbelievably good.
The first run, it was *inredibly* loose and twitchy, I am still not sure why that was, 3 months later. You can see how much the car was trying to slide in the video. Run #2 went just fine, and run #3 was also going well, other than a slight oopsie there at the end - darn!
This was another good points day with 940, and finally, FINALLY, the rubbing in the front of the car was solved!
Looking back on it, the car is noticably high in the rear, and still seems to have quite a bit of body movement, when looking at the videos taken from outside the car. Still, it was great to have the problem that had plagued me all year finally gone!
