Writeup/Notes:

Bill Lamkin put on a T&T for those of us planning on going to nationals, so we could start dialing in the cars. Mike and I went in the vette to really start playing with the shock setup, since that was one thing I hadn't really played with all year and had just tried setting it where it felt "OK".

We spent most of the morning doing the slalom. We started the shocks at full soft and worked up from there, settling on 3/3 for bump, and working out to around -3/-6 for rebound. As it turns out, these settings weren't quite right for the Ecstas, but worked beautifully once we got the V710's on later in the year.

However, it was the first time that I'd ever gotten to play with, and experience the effects of playing with your shocks at both extremes of their adjustments in both bump and rebound. This turned out to be invaluable when we went to the bumpy courses of Wendover and and Topeka - knowing what to do with the Bump, and how to change things in the rain (1/1 compression, halve rebound) worked really well. This will be good experience for later on.

Just for the hell of it, we took a fair amount of video during the day, and have a few fun spins and general laughter on there. Wee!
