With exchange rates being what they are, a lot of Radical owners are looking for alternate places to get parts. Here is the info that we have compiled for various consumables.

For some things, it's just as easy to buy from Radical South, but some of these things you can find cheaper prices on the same thing, or even better parts for less money.

Wheel Bearings SKF SKF P/N #BAH-0015 E

Talked to the local SKF rep and found out that they must be special ordered from Italy (i.e. don't hold your breath on delivery time). I ordered 6, and when they came in they were the right part, and for the right price (about $25). I can source any number of these. With that SKF part number, it may be possible to cross reference them to other bearing manufacturers as well.

CV Joints (Inner)   Our CV's are from a non-US spec Ford Fiesta Van. Ford P/N appears to be 81TT-3K167-AA. Also stamped on them are three patent numbers, and "Hardy-Spencer C7846" Img 1

CV Joints (Outer)   Our CV's are from a non-US spec Ford Fiesta Van, and say "GLO 3675K" on them. They are stock Ford parts from some sort of UK spec Fiesta. Both inner and outer are from the same vehicle. Img 1

Fuel Cell Fuel Safe They have both the "long" cells that have the passthrough for the shift linkage, and also a "short" cell that's about 8 gallons, that stops just short of the linkage on the RHS of the car. I've got pictures of my install for anybody curious how to make sure it stays in place.

Cost was about $1,400 including a check valve on top for the breather, and the fancy-pants "scavenge" setup to make sure it gets every last drop of fuel before the pickup starts going dry.

Note that the outlet location has changed over the years of Prosport cars. My car originally had the outlet on the RHS ("Passenger") side of the car, but as that runs right by the collector for the header on my car (the R1 in mine doesn't have the typical split that most Radicals seem to) , I had them put the outlet facing out on the LHS, which was how it was in their drawing anyway
