Winter Shakedown
After a long winter, and not having run the car since October 2005, at the last time trials, Having finally gotten
the car back into one piece, I wanted to do some testing before giving the car to Bob for the rental at PMI.
In short, there was not much major to report on the car. On some old R35 tires, there was steady-state understeer. A LOT of rear brake bias was causing turn-in instability, since the rear wanted to catch and rotate when you braked too hard. Also, the rear shocks were at -0 rebound, which may have contributed to the effect. THe car was not, precisely, stable.
Beacon wasn't working right, so no times for the setup. Turns out the wire has frayed - the Fergusons repaired it for me, and all is now well.
So, the new brakes are fine, the new axles are fine, and it's time to get this season started!
NEW CHANGES:
- TCE Brakes
- Fast Forward Axles
